Neighborhood Purposes Grants (NPGs) are awarded to certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or public schools for projects that improve the Greater Wilshire community and provide a public benefit.
An NPG project should build community, enhance the neighborhood, and be open, accessible, and free to the general public. Projects may encompass a wide range and can include, but are not limited to: the arts, beautification, community support, education, and community improvements.
The application window for GWNC Neighborhood Purposes Grants is now open, with a current deadline of February 28, 2023. Applications received after the deadline will not be evaluated by the NPG Committee. The GWNC Board may also vote to extend the deadline at its February 8th meeting.
